The transition from late winter to early spring is an exciting time: ephemeral wildflowers weigh the risk of late frost against the bounty of available sunlight shining through the bare branches. Join leader Marney Bruce on a walk near the Potomac. We will be investigating plant life, and keeping our fingers crossed for elusive early Spring ephemerals. Our walk will take place along the mostly level, natural-surface towpath. However, there will be one area down unleveled terrain. Walking poles are recommended. REGISTER
