As the greens of summer fade, fall ushers in an array of glorious colors and forms to explore.  In this beginner’s session, Nature Forward member and artist Jen Brown will help you learn how to portray fall leaves, fruits and seeds using colored pencil. The location for this workshop will be our Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD. where native plant gardens and forest offer many subjects for you to sketch. Jen will guide everyone through various colored pencil techniques and then help participants with their own colored pencil drawings of fall items found at Woodend. Depending on the weather, we’ll spend some (or most) of our time under an outdoor tented space or an indoor classroom. A list of materials needed for this workshop will be sent 2 weeks in advance.
