
Teen Naturalist Training Program
If you like getting muddy, singing camp songs, and teaching campers how to hold a frog, then we have the volunteer program for you – our Teen Naturalist Training (TNT) program! Each session will include volunteering in our summer camp program, plus hands-on lessons in natural history, restoration work, and outdoor group leadership – all while earning student service learning hours for school!
Session 1: June 22–July 10, 2026 (no camp July 3)
Members $560, nonmembers $730
Session 2: July 13–31, 2026
Members $600, nonmembers $770
Session 3: August 3–21, 2026
Members $600, nonmembers $770
- For students entering 9th, 10th, or 11th grade
- Earn 100 SSL hours
- Work with young children at a fun, outdoor nature camp
- Special natural history training
- Three-week program
TNT applications are available at https://forms.office.com/r/zY6VtYpxcG. We will assign teen naturalists on a rolling basis, so please apply early. Note: Acceptance into the TNT program is dependent on a successful interview with the camp admin team.
