Taking Nature Black Conference
Nature Forward is pleased to announce that our 2025 Taking Nature Black conference will take place March 5 -8, 2025.
The theme, Reclamation & Resilience, reflects the need to reclaim environmental justice and continue to build strength and power together.
The event will include virtual sessions on Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday, March 6th; and in person on Friday, March 7th at the Silver Spring Civic Center in Downton Silver Spring, MD. Saturday, March 8th will include outdoor nature activities.
Naturally Latinos Conference
The 5th Naturally Latinos Conference took place Wednesday, January 24th, through Sunday, January 28th. Themed “Pertenenciendo: Nuestras Raíces, Nuestra Tierra (Belonging: Our Roots, Our Earth),” this multi-media experience provided virtual and in-person dialogue, presentations, and performances focused on the needs and interests of Latine environmental professionals, environmental justice advocates, educators, and nature enthusiasts across the DC region and the world.
