Beatriz first discovered Woodend as a customer while searching for binoculars for her 10-year-old son, a Peregrine falcon enthusiast. Struck by the beauty of the grounds and mansion, she thought, what an incredible place to work. Living nearby, she often returned with her two sons to explore the trails. In 2015, a year after her first visit, her thought became a reality when she joined the Nature Forward team.

As the Rentals Director, Beatriz shares Woodend’s natural beauty and environmental mission with clients who value nature and seek an inspiring venue for their special occasion. She holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a globally recognized credential that signifies excellence, experience, and dedication in the events industry.

Beatriz speaks fluent Portuguese, conversational Spanish, and is currently learning Italian. In her free time, she crochets winter hats for those in need, enjoys time with family and friends, and loves taking long road trips.
