As Nature Forward’s Videographer/Photographer, Ben spends time with multiple departments looking for moments that help tell the Nature Forward story. He traces his passion for protecting nature to attending nature summer camp as a kid, and to his grandmother, a lifelong birder. Ben’s work for Nature Forward has been published in newspapers and magazines, and he was co-photographer of Nature Forward’s two portrait-photography eBooks, Belonging and Perteniciendo.

Ben earned a BA in English Literature and returned to school for an AFA in Studio Art. He worked in print journalism and the art industry before becoming a visual media professional. Ben’s hobbies include pickleball and going to the AFI Silver Theatre.
