Alexis’s love of the natural world was born from investigating the critters in her backyard and exploring her neighborhood creek growing up with her brothers and neighbors. After years of working with children at schools, at camp, and in a clinic setting in addition to connecting with folks as a barista and in farmers market roles, she is thrilled to have found a home at Woodend in the Nature Preschool. Alexis is a Master Naturalist and training to become a Master Gardener. She is also a Grain Stand Specialist with FRESHFARM, a Green Roof Maintenance Technician, and a City Blossoms Garden Steward. In her free time, she tends to her gardens, keeps a close eye on the birds, and helps host events at Temperance Alley Garden.
