Alice is the Director of the Restoration Department, the team charged with both enhancing the habitat value of Woodend Nature Sanctuary and the ecology of the region via Nature Forward’s Community Greening outreach programs. While she attended classes at Woodend as a child, her first professional connection to Nature Forward was when she came on board in 2021 as a licensed Landscape Architect to wrap up the design and construction of our Nature Play Space. She had so much fun that in 2022 she joined the staff! She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and two children, a former Nature Preschool “Oak” and a future Nature Preschool “Acorn.”
