Nature Preschool Teacher

Amy has been working with preschoolers since she was a teenager, devoting her professional career to providing children and adults with safe, memorable, and life-affirming experiences in nature. Having won the Margaret O’Neill Early Childhood Nature Educator Award in 2015, she is experienced in creating, developing, and implementing successful programs in collaboration with educators, families, mentors, and the landscape. She has served on the Board of Directors for Ancestral Knowledge and the Association for Nature-Based Education; all of which is born from her passion to share her love of the natural world with children. Amy lives in Gaithersburg, where she continues to share the wonders of nature after school hours with her three beautiful god daughters.
