Genevieve Wall (she/her) joined Nature Forward in November 2023, but her connection to the organization dates back to her childhood. She grew up walking the trails and splashing in the pond at the Woodend Nature Sanctuary. Genevieve’s formal environmental education career began as an Americorps intern at Presquile National Wildlife Refuge, where she educated K-12 students about the natural history of the tidal James River on foot, by canoe, and by pontoon boat. She spent five years with the James River Association facilitating hands-on ecology lessons, canoe expeditions, and scientific collection trawls throughout the James River Watershed.

Genevieve is a certified Wilderness First Responder, speaks proficient Spanish, and holds a BA summa cum laude from Muhlenberg College. As a lifelong lover of the outdoors, Genevieve enjoys sharing her deep respect and appreciation for nature. She hopes to inspire others to expand their awareness and marvel in the complexity and beauty of our planet.
