As GreenKids Director, Jeff oversees Nature Forward’s educational programming in partnership with local schools, including the planning and facilitation of professional development for teachers. He also supports GreenKids schools working toward Green Schools certification, delivery of in-school and after-school environmental education programs in Maryland, Virginia and DC and promotion of environmental literacy across the region.

Before joining Nature Forward in 2022, he worked as a Youth Development Program Quality Coach for expanded learning opportunities programs in and around Seattle, WA, supporting the development of social and emotional learning and culturally responsive programs. Jeff previously worked as Education Program Officer for the National Environmental Education Foundation in DC. He earned his Master of Education degree from the University of Washington in partnership with IslandWood’s Education for Environment and Community certificate program.
