As Staff Accountant at Nature Forward, Katrina manages benefits and payroll for more than 50 employees. Katrina brings many talents and experiences to her work. She served for 23 years with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service in a managerial role, is a licensed nurse, and is an Ordained Pastor in the Baptist Church. In addition, Katrina is a Lifetime Queen with the All American Pageant System and a pageant coach.

Katrina loves being outdoors and has a special affinity for butterflies. She fell in love with Woodend Nature Sanctuary the first time she visited the grounds in 2014 and takes particular pride in the progress in accessibility that Nature Forward has made in the past decade. While undergoing cancer treatments in recent years, Katrina found Woodend to be part of her healing journey on account of its beauty and calming presence.
