Maggie Crawford is Nature Forward’s Director of Education. She oversees GreenKids, Adult Programs, Youth Programs and the Nature Preschool. Previously, she managed digital marketing efforts for Smithsonian Jazz and Food History at the National Museum of American History. Before that she was Senior Director of Education at the Newseum, responsible for family days, teacher workshops, and NewseumED.org. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Museum Education from The George Washington University. Growing up on Mon Luis Island, Alabama, she was instilled with a deep love of nature, especially estuaries. She enjoys paddleboarding and kayaking with her wife Jeanie and her dog Ellie.
