Talissa Bavaresco is Nature Forward’s first Special Event and Sponsorship Manager, coordinating fundraising events like Woodend After Dark and Autumn Lights. She also secures sponsorships for flagship conferences such as Taking Nature Black and Naturally Latinos, as well as the annual Birdathon fundraiser.

Joining Nature Forward in the summer of 2024, Talissa shares the belief that we all need nature, and nature needs all of us. Originally from Brazil, she aimed to study biology but moved to the U.S. to pursue dance at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, becoming the first Brazilian to graduate from their Jazz & Contemporary Trainee Program. She continues to perform and choreograph with her company, BAVA Dance (Bold Alluring Virtuous Artists), and teaches dance in the DMV area.
