Teen Naturalist Training Program
If you like getting muddy, singing camp songs, and teaching campers how to hold a frog, then we have the volunteer program for you – our teen naturalist training program! Each session will include volunteering in our summer camp program, plus hands-on lessons in natural history, restoration work, and outdoor group leadership – all while earning student service learning hours for school! $450 per session for NF members, $535 for nonmembers.
- For Teens entering 9th, 10th, 11th grade
- Earn 100 SSL hours
- Work with kids in a fun, outdoor camp
- Special natural history training
- 3 week program
Visit anshome.org/camp to apply online. Applications due Friday, April 14. We will assign teen naturalists on a rolling basis so please apply early. Note: acceptance to TNT program is dependent on interview for first-time applicants.
Other opportunities for youth:
- “Green Team” camps for middle schoolers with service learning components.
- Volunteer as a Stream Monitor along with your favorite adult.
