Theo Cartales (he/him) is one of our GreenKids Environmental Educators, delivering programming to elementary school students in Washington, DC. This year Theo’s been working with fourth and fifth graders on pollution in our watershed, and urban flooding in DC. Before working at Nature Forward, Theo earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of San Francisco. He’s currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from George Mason University. In his free time, Theo likes drawing, painting, and reading. He also likes thrifting, trying new coffee shops, and playing with his two cats, Tuna and Scallop.
