Fall in our area can be a dazzling array of color, but oak leaves are often overlooked. With their glowing golds, rich browns, and subtle reds they make a challenging but fun subject for watercolor. In this class we will focus on a single oak leaf, first doing a tonal study in one color to map out the lights and darks, then moving on to color. We will also cover color mixing, how to transfer a drawing to watercolor paper, and tips on how to handle leaf veins. REGISTER.
