Leo is the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps member at Nature Forward for the 2025-2026 program year. Having grown up in nearby Kensington, Maryland, Leo has been a part of Nature Forward programs since preschool, attending various summer camps and later serving as a camp intern. Leo is grateful and excited to be back assisting in projects that will help restore the forests, meadows, and stream at Woodend, one of the first places that ignited his passion for conservation of the natural world.

He is a recent graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry with a BS in Conservation Biology and a minor in Environmental Policy and Communication.
