Join us for what is best described as a master class on powerfully communicating your environmental story. You’ll learn firsthand from gifted communicator, storyteller and author Caroline Brewer, whose latest book, “Say Their Names,” was recently showcased in The Washington Post. Caroline has a wealth of knowledge and experience telling stories as a Pulitzer Prize-nominated features writer, editorial writer, columnist and much more. Formerly as our Nature Forward Communications Director and Chairwoman of the Taking Nature Black (TNB) Conference, Caroline oversaw the conference’s exponential growth and originated the celebrated publication of Belonging: The Black Americans in Nature Photography Project. During this exclusive first-ever master class (and in anticipation of March’s Belonging-themed TNB Conference!), Caroline will share with you her secrets on how to share your environmental stories in ways that strike an emotional chord, create big impacts, and inspire people to care and take action for your cause.
