Event Details

With data center development’s energy demands threatening many states’ climate goals, some have proposed nuclear energy as the source to reliably power data centers without relying on fossil fuels. But recent weakening of federal regulations for nuclear energy have prompted concerns for the safety of nuclear for communities and the environment. Join Nature Forward and Dr. Edwin Lyman from Union of Concerned Scientists to learn about the risks and benefits of nuclear energy, the impacts of recent federal changes, and what you can do to keep your community safe.
Join us virtually on Tuesday, March 31 at 7pm (4pm PST) via ZOOM.
Although this event is free, please consider donating to support Nature Forward’s Conservation advocacy, outreach, and education work! You can give any amount by clicking here.
