Huntley Meadows is home to a variety of habitats–from their namesake meadows, to wetlands, to forests. The park has been shaped by the meanders of the Potomac River, and by the eager engineering of beaver–which, cross our fingers, we may have the opportunity to see! We will wander the wetland boardwalk and close the 1.8 mile loop through the woods to sample a diverse array of plants, birds, mammal signs, and more. We will be on paved trails, natural surface trails, and a boardwalk, with an optional stair climb to an observation tower over the wetland.  REGISTER
